| Description: | Hagal is on the island of Masirah off the coast of Oman. Best time for sailing there is during the summer when the Southwest Monsoon is blowing. The wind is sideshore from the southwest. This is the spot for the biggest waves on the island. Relatively safe place to wave sail and it is great for jumping. There is a good entry point a 100 meters north of the road. Bottom is mostly sand, but there are rocks on both sides of the entry point that you should be aware of. Waves on the outside can be 5 meters, but they don\'t break with too much power. This is just one of many spots on Masirah. Overall, one of the best sailing spots in the world for variety of conditions during the June-August windy season. Windguru provides a very accurate forecast of the conditions. |
