| Description: | Nice spot. Usable +/- 3 hours of high water, check the tides on windguru. At low water its a bit a walk (10 minutes) to the water, however its great at this time due to there being a large waist deep sandy beach.

Beach faces south.
Southerly winds are great expect the strength to be a little more than windguru predicts. Waves funnel into the bay causing about 1.5m waves when its windy.
Easterly winds are ok, maybe a little bit gusty. Flat water
Westerly winds are good. flat water
not sailed there in northely but should be ok. water will be flat though.
Getting there
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From Helensburgh. follow coast road out going south for about 5 minutes look for right turn. Theres a couple of houses either side of the turn.
From the south. Drive through caidross. look for turning on left. you\'ll be going down a gentle hill. turn is just after a house.
